Respected and beloved 440,000 citizens of Guro District!
Hello! I am Jung Dae-geun, Chairperson for the latter half of the 9th Guro District Council.

I feel a heavy sense of responsibility for taking on the role of Chairperson for the latter half of the 9th Guro District Council, where the full-fledged curtain of local autonomy has risen.

First, I will continue to perform my duties as a council member, prioritize residents, and work with a beginner's mindset.
Also, I will do my best to ensure that the council does not neglect its role of checking and monitoring the executive body.

And I promise to operate the council through constant dialogue and compromise with the council and local community, and to develop grassroots democracy by listening to and gathering diverse opinions.

I will run hard anytime, anywhere to create a Guro where residents are happy, council members feel rewarded, and all public officials in the executive body can work passionately.

Moving forward, all 16 council members, including myself, will devote themselves to council activities during the latter half to become " one step closer to citizens, a citizen-centered Guro District Council."
